21 February 2011 Dear sir
Our epc contractor firm situated in navi mumbai& our projects working in all over india. civil , mechanical .electrical installation work done by our company.this is service industry so we have large service tax payable problems pl suggest me which book refer to paid service tax payable as well as which any other taxes applicable for EPC CONTRACT FIRM/WORK CONTRACT FIRM Pl tell me as early as possible .Its needful to me.

25 February 2011 you read in detail about works contract service under the service tax procedures. your projects are covered under that service only. secondly, go through the provisions of VAT/WCT as applicable to your state and the state in which your projects are undertaken. you can get lots of material on net also. . further, it is advisable that you get in touch with your consultant/CA/Lawyer who files your returns.so don't panic.
