Service Tax - Exemption/Refund for exporters.

Dear Sir,
Pls guide me, what are the notifications under which we can claim exemption of service tax or service tax refund. We are the manufacturer & exporter of steel castings.

As for Service Tax is concerned , there are two things . One is Service Tax paid on input services. The other is service tax paid on output services.
As for Exporter is concerned, there is no service tax on exports. So, he can claim refund of input service tax by filing monthly returns in Service Tax Form I.
The relevant notification can be had from the www.cbec.gov.in
