Please can anybody tell me the due dates of Service tax payment and return dates for companies and other than companies.

04 August 2012 Due date for payment of service tax is 5 of the next montn and 6 incase of epayment. Due date for service tax return is 25 April and 25 October.

the last date for March is 31st March..

Moreover, the e-payment is mandatory; hence consider 06as last date..
Even if the tax is not paid returns are to be filed; the penalty for non filing or belated filing cost Rs.20000/-
