Service tax credit written off if received later then what is accounting treatment??

If service tax refund applied but department has rejected hence amount is written off as rates and taxes in the books. Later on we received the refund, can this refund be treated as income. Is there any notification in this regard.

yES THE REFUND WILL BE TRATED AS YOUR INCOME IN THE YEAR OF RECEIPT.
