Dear Sir,
pls suggest, can a manufacturer take service tax credit on bills of canteen , canteen run in factory premises...

hey friend,
as per the cenvet credit rules, credit can be avail on input, capital goods and input services, if it is received in the factory and used in or in relation to mfg of taxable goods....
as in your case, credit on bills of canteen is not eligible for credit, bcoz of it is not used in or in relation to mfg of taxable goods...
