wants to know whether service tax applicable to huf person who has charging rent of RS 35000p.m. to company for godown

The rent received in the above case comes to Rs. 420000/- @ 35000 p.m. Since the threshold exemption is not breached the compliance with service tax provisions do not arise.
Assumption: rent income is the only income of HUF.
