01 February 2011 I am working in partner ship firm we develope and construction of residential flats as we pay service tax or not. If we pay what is the rate of Tax.

02 February 2011 If you are constructing building on your own site, no service tax is applicable. If you are undertaking the development of a site on sharing basis, you need to pay service tax on the sale value of your share of property after completion of the structure.
