when our service tax payment liability as ob bill nook or when we received payment by party

Service tax on services rendered prior to 1st July 2011 can be paid upon collection whereas services rendered from 1st July 2011 is required to be discharged on invoices basis. However, exemption has been granted to few service providers such as Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants and legal services etc.
