WHen will the service tax on rent will become due for payment??

Pl make the query more clear.

from 01.05.11 onwards, service tax is to be paid on the bill value and the due date is 5/6th of the subsequent month.

I am asking as earlier service tax is due for payment on payment basis, but now the rules has been amended, so i am asking on which basis the service tax will become due for payment on rent, as there is no bill for rent!
