What books are required to be maintained for Service Tax??

No specific record is prescribed to be maintained for service tax.
Compulsary E-Payment of Service tax is required in case the Service tax payment in the currrent financial year is more that Rs. 50 Lac for any assesee.
The E filing of service tax return is not compulsary but optional.
