mega exemption condition and its applicability on goods

Transaction of sale or trading of goods are not subject to service tax... Service tax can be levied only on services and not goods.. it is also beyond constitutional competence of Central govt to levy service tax on goods as the powers are with State Govt in such cases to levy VAT...
