24 February 2010 security service provider now charging service charge on their bill is it now applicable to all security provider to charge service charge

27 February 2010 Please refer Service tax taxable service list, Security service covered under taxable service. If security service provider can charge service tax on their bill provided, they have to mentioned their service tax registeration number in invoice. Without service tax reg.number, if they charged service tax, we need not pay service tax amount to service provider. One of service tax credit eligibility cretria in service tax, the tax invoice should contain service tax reg.number.
