I want to know about short term investment.. I'm student. so I don't have any idea about investment. and I want to invest my savings. plZ suggests me..

Most of the banks have AUTO deposit kind of savings bank account. I think, for a student, the same should serve the purpose of INVESTMENT. State Bank calls it as MOD accounts.
