My father has given me Rs 15 lacs as gift.
Will he be required to execute a gift deed, what should be the value of stamp papers and should the gift deed be registered?

Cash gift needs no compulsory registration under the INDIAN STAMP ACT.

Not even a deed just a letter by donor and acceptance by donee.
