I have invested Rs.40000/- as FDR in HDFC Bank for 13 months on Auto Renewal Basis. Can I get deduction u/s 80C of Income Tax act.

Required Duration of the FDR for saving the tax is 5 years. You can not get deduction as you may withdraw the amount before 5 years.
