02 April 2012 Please let me know the date from which section 66B of Finance Act, 1994 comes into effect.

11 April 2012 First the finance bill is to be approved by the parliament. Then only it will become an Act. The date from which it will become effective will also be notified. Right now these notifications will only help us to prepare for what is the impact.

04 June 2012 Finance Bill 2012 became Finance Act 2012 on 8th May 2012. i.e. Parliament has passed the bill.
