If father who is eligible for section 54 exemption construct house on the plot owned by son...will the father be eligible to claim exemption...can anyone suggest any case laws in favour of this question..pls urgent

NO, EXEMPTION IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO YOUR FATHER. LAND SHOULD IN THE NAME OF FATHER TO CLAIM U/S 54.

Yes he wont be eligible for exemption

Father can get the exemption, provided Son had legally permitted to construct the house property over his plot to his father.
