is it necessary dat cost for improvment of residential property has to be incurr after purchase of property?
in my case i hd incurred it before registration of ma purchase agreement as my builder was guarantor in agreement between myself & contractor for development of property....

yes cost of improvement will always after purchase,
before purchase it become the part of cost of acquisition
