14 July 2012 Our client is providing service of tour & travel.
last year the total gross receipts was less than 60 lacs. he is regular payer of service tax.
whether he can claim profit under section 44AD.
Since he is in service sector.whether the service sector is included in eligible business.
pls reply soon.

14 July 2012 It depends nature of client. Please tell me who is providing service of tour & travel. If Company is providing service of Tour & Travel then Sec 44AD shall not attract.
But service sector is included in eligible business u/s 44AD.

14 July 2012 Yes, You can show such service u/s 44AD Provided that Turnover or gross receipts does not exceed Rs. 60 Lac.
