12 February 2013 Sir,
Please clarify the Pre Construction or post construction period for example one person get the possession on 31.03.2012 in this what is pre construction period.

12 February 2013 financial year 2010 11, 2011 12 shall be regarded to pre construction. That is to say any period prior to 31/03/2012 shall be regarded to be pre construction. (Normally the completion certificate is regarded to be the date of completion of construction rather than date of possession.

12 February 2013 Here pre construction period is interest upto 31.03.2011

Pre construction period is the period upto the end of previous financial year of the financial year in which the house is completed or taken the possession

From 01.04.2011 the interest is post construction period interest

Please suggest that from 01.04.2011 to 31.03.2012 we can give full rabte for interest upto 150000.00 alongwith HRA.
