04 October 2014 Sirs and Friends,

Should i deduct TDS U/s 194C on purchase of Printed labels. We place order according to the requirement of the Overseas buyers. These labels are used in kaftans and other textile garments exported by us. Can u please help me as i think it would be a sale contract rather than a work contract. Please help to clear my doubt.

04 October 2014 Yes you are correct. TDS not required to be deducted in the given case since it is simply a purchase transaction.
