31 May 2022 Notice issued to assessee us 148 in june 2021 for AY 16 17. Now as per SC order in the case of Ashish Agarwal ; the dept. issued notice us 148A(b) in may 22 giving the reason of escapement of income of Rs. 4 lacs. Is this notice valid ?? Because now as per sec 149 dept. cannot issue notice beyond 3 yrs. if income escaped is less than 50 lacs.
