Dear All,
Kindly inform whether investment under sec 54EC bonds shall be made before due date of filing return of income or with in six month from the date of transfer.
If sale is affected in Feb 2016, then investment shall be made before Aug 2016 or before 31st July 2016?
Kindly reply with suitable case laws and relevant provisions.

As per the provisions of section 54EC it is 6 months. Check the data validations in the ITR.
