18 June 2012 Assume director of a limited company & director of a foreign company are relative. In such a case are both of the companies related as per sec 297 of companies act.

21 June 2012 Section 297 is applicable only where one of the two companies being parties to the contract is a private company and other is a public company. Section 297 does not apply to foreign companies.
