07 December 2011 Dear All, Can anyone help me for the following TDS related issue.

Our company wants to buy a software license (not a tailor made)from Brazil and to be installed at our client's place at Brazil. Pl let me know the applicability of TDS to this payment.

07 December 2011 The tax law prevailing in Brazil will apply in this case. It will be proper if payment is made from the foreign office directly.
Further services rendered by a Non Resident
out of India is not liable to be taxed in India.
