20 November 2012 Please tell me whether their was any notification for not deducting TDS of truck owners not having more than 2 trucks an d if yes pls provide me its number and date. Urgent Reply is needed.

20 November 2012 194 C(6) No deduction shall be made from any sum credited or paid or likely to be credited or paid during the previous year to the account of a contractor during the course of business of plying, hiring or leasing goods carriages, on furnishing of his Permanent Account Number, to the person paying or crediting such sum. Apart from this there is no other notification as such.
