28 July 2010 Lets suppose a person has received a notice for scrutiny. Now if the person himself wants to appear before the Hon. ITO then whats the step by step process. What are the documents he need to carry with him. He has to carry orginal documents or xerox copies? what abt FD receipts and investment receipts ......

please explain the setp by step process.

28 July 2010 First day you should appear for hearing with the documents required by ITO.
No need to carry original documents. Produce all xerox copy . If ito requires then show him the original documents.
