08 February 2011 I paid school tution fess through bank challan.Can i attach this as a proof of tution fees paid with income tax return or certificate from scholl is compulsory

08 February 2011 Challan copy (duly stamped by bank) will be sufficient, if it carries the proper bifurcation of the amount paid like.... Tution fees, development fund, transport etc...

Otherwise, you need to ask the school for the certificate.

08 February 2011 Yes the challan will be sufficient but no need to attach it with income tax return the same shall be kept in Your Income Tax File for record.
