18 December 2010 A manufacturer regd. with DVAT, He wants to sale rejected & old stock material to Kudhawala by cash. VAT applicable on this sales or not? Pls suggest me treatment of this transaction.

Dear friend
I think you want to say that either VAT will be applicable on the waste or scrap materiel sold or not ?
And if it than i think you should charge VAT on that Coz it's comes under the preview of VAT liability
