31 October 2009 can any one tell me how much maximum salary can be paid to directors in private company

31 October 2009 There is no limit on salary to be paid to working directors in a private company. but while paying salary to working dirctors you must see the article of the company.

Provisions related to managerial remuneration are not applicable to a private company.

But be careful about section 314 office or place of profit.

06 November 2009 yes. there is no limit for directors pvt ltd company. but see the sec 314 as per ankurji's instruction.
