i am comfuse about salary structure in pvt. co. bcoz some body hr's takes 40% basic of gross salary some take 50 % or 30 & also same with HRA & conveyance & LTA so can u provide the legal & genuine salary structure for pvt. co.'s.

please help me

19 January 2011 No Salary structure is provided under any law for rivate Company. It depends on the management of the Private Company to frame a salary structure of an employees.

Genarally, medium sized private company provides following:

Basic
HRA
Special Allowance
Medical Reimbursement
Conveyence allowance

19 January 2011 Special allowance generally the rest portion after deduction of all other allowance from gross salary

CCA -city compensatory allowance based on working city it will differ,but mainly depend on Income tax limit

Driver reimb- based on hired driver salary

petrol- based on actual expenses

LTA- no limit actual expenses basis

20 January 2011 Limits are differ from allowance to allowance, like Transport allwance Rs.800 per month, City compensatory allowance based on city, Driver reimburement need to be calculte based on perquisite valuation rules. LTA actuals as per travel tickets only
