Dear sir ,

Please suggest your valuable advices as early as possible regarting the below Quary :

I am paying Rents in two places due to i am staying at one place and my family nmembers staying at another city .

Can I produce Two places Rents under sec 10 (13A )?
Provision says only the Excess of Rent paid over 10 per cent of Salary .

your employer has paid HRA for you not for your family .so you produce one place rent receipt

I am clear sec 10(13A)

1.Amount received during the financial year for HRA
Less: Exemption u/s 10(13A) Rule 2A Least of the followings:
(a) Actual amount received
(b) 50% (for metro cities) / 40% of Salary (for other places)
(c) Rent paid less 10% of Salary
