05 November 2015 Dear sir , i had earned salary income from abroad in the last two years now i have to come in India please explain me my global salary income is taxed in India in the A.Y. 2016-17?

05 November 2015 Answer to your question is based on the residential status for you. Since you stayed outside throughtout the AY 2015-16 for AY 2016 -2017 you will be treated as Non resident. Hence your income outside India will not be taxable.

For taxability of foreign Salary in India, you need to refer Section 6 of Income Tax i.e, regarding residential status of Individual....
