Is the CBDT notification exempting ITR for Return below 5 lacs is applicable for A.Y. 2013-14 ? Bcoz in Notification no. 9/2012, it uses the words A.Y. 2012-13 only. Whether this notification extended for next A.Y. Also ?

I didn't find any notification but some passive references were seen in certain news paper write-ups.

Today's write up says not extended to assessment year 2013-14 meaning thereby return has to be filed. Please see the link

From ay 13-14 now they need to file return whose sal income is upto rs.5 lacs.
