Will salary arrears from my previous employer(Received after left the job) attract relief u/s.89?

Arrears attract tax only when these are received.
In your case relief can be claimed but due to lowering tax slabs it may not result as
a real relief.

Yes Paras Sir is right.Any arrears received, it attract tax.If there is any tax benefits by calculating Relief U/s 89 than it is advisable to calculate Relief U/s 89.
