sir is there any provision regarding exemption of free hotel accommodation in case of transfer of employee from one place to another place
if yes then explain me with an example

As per the provisions, if the accomodation provided in hotel in the following 2 conditions, not chargable to tax
1. The hotel accomodation is provided for a total period of not exceeding aggregate 15 days in previous year
2. Such accomodation is provided on an employee`s transfer from one place to another place

okay sir now if an employee is transferred from one place to another place then will he get exemption from tax for first 15 days

Whether it is First 15 days or 15 days split into any other proportions, it will not make any difference.
One should make sure that the total stay on the occation transfer from one place to another place should not exceed 15 days in aggregate.
