If a person receives Rs.5,000 on the occasion of Silver Jubilee of the company..& its stated that this uniform amount is given to each employee on this occasion .....Then is it taxable ?

My view it is a gift, so up to Rs.5000/- not taxable,
Amount given for offical uniform is no taxable

It is as good as Bonus and hence it is taxable..
