16 December 2014 what should be the best salary structure for 4.80 lac pa. package..
employee is residing in mumbai on a rented flat along with his brother.. but brother is paying the rent and currently drawing HRA from his organisation.. employee has no claimable deduction u/s 80C.

16 December 2014 A straight forward structure is the best. Let him save 150000 and pay the tax on the rest. If possible he can go for housing loan.

You can add Medical Reimbursement upto 15K, LTA reimbursement upto 30K, also you can give him mobile reimbursement, Petrol reimbursement.
