S.tax on travel business

10 November 2011 I have a properietorship Business of Tour & Travels where I purchase Domestic & International Tickets from IATA Dealers & sell to Public and other Tour Operators. I dont have IATA. Is Service Tax is applicable to my firm.

10 November 2011 If the commission on sale of tickets crosses Rs 10/- lacs the minnimum limit, then service tax is applicable. u have to apply for registration when u crosses total commision of Rs9/- lacs.
