Rrgarding 2nd stage dealer

This query is : Resolved

16 October 2014 Hi
I have recently registered my firm with The excise department. We trade in armored cables which we purchase from a dealer and pass on to our clients. Our practice had been to pass on our Client's excise info to the dealer and have him raise an excise gate pass or MODVAT copy directly on their name.
My doubt is this.. If i now have the dealer make the MODVAT on my firm's name and then we make a MODVAT of same details on our Client's name...will my client be able to get the MODVAT benefit?

12 November 2014 As your customer is getting valid document as mentioned in Rule 9 of CCR 2004.

HE will be eligible for credit.
