REGARDING DIR-5 THAT MY CLIENT IS A DIRECTOR AND HE IS EXPIRED NOW, SO WE HAVE TO FILE DIR-5. AND OTHER DIRECTOR OF THE COMPANY CAN SIGN INSTEAD OF HIM IN THE DIR-5 AND RD-1 FORM..NEED TO RESOLVE THE QUERY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

As per my understanding, by virtue of Rule 11(c) of Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014 the DIN of the director may be canceled or deactivated if an application along with a documentary proof is submitted to the Central Government or to the RD. Accordingly, you may file Form GNL-2 attaching the death certificate of the director. Alternatively, you may also seek guidance from the DIN Cell, Noida, on 9259720983.
