29 April 2015 8 and 9 in stamp paper and 10 in plain paper. Stamp duty of 8 and 9 varies from state to state.

1. Stamp paper requirement for attachments of INC-7 (Forms 8, 9 & 10)
Forms 8 and 9:
Yes, these need to be printed on stamp paper, but the stamp duty amount varies from state to state. It usually ranges from ₹10 to ₹100, depending on the state’s stamp act.
Commonly, ₹20 or ₹50 stamp paper is used, but you should check your local stamp duty rules.

Form 10:
This is typically on plain paper and does not require stamp paper.

Witness of MOA:
Usually, the subscribers to the Memorandum of Association (MOA) themselves sign the document. Witnesses can be any adult independent person (not a subscriber) to attest signatures if required by the state stamp law, but generally, no specific qualification for witness is mandated.

2. Extension of name reservation period
The name reservation under RUN or INC-1 is valid for 60 days from the date of approval.

You cannot extend the name reservation period after expiry.

If your name reservation is about to expire, you need to apply fresh for name reservation again.

You cannot file INC-7 (incorporation form) alone without name approval because the name needs to be approved first.

3. Post-incorporation procedure
Once the company is incorporated:

Appointment of Auditors:
The Board of Directors should pass a Board Resolution to appoint the first auditor within 30 days of incorporation. The auditor holds office until the conclusion of the first Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Allotment of Share Certificates:
Shares should be allotted to the subscribers as per the MoA within 2 months of incorporation.
The company must issue Share Certificates within 2 months of allotment.
Minutes of the Board meeting approving share allotment should be recorded.
