09 January 2008 Assessing Officer has passed expary order u/s 144 now i would like to file Revision Petition( u/s 263 & 264 ) rather than going for CIT (A), can i do s.

Secondly is there any specific form for filing Revision Petition under Income Tax Act.

10 January 2008 Yes you can go to CIT (Admin) u/s 264 instead of filing appeal before CIT(Appeals).
No specific form is there.
Filing fees is there.
