19 December 2013 Assessee has excluded the certain income from A.Y.2006-07 and offered to tax in A.Y.2007-08 AND 2008-09 and paid the tax.For A.Y.2006-07 same addition have been made by him in assessment proceeding u/s 143(3) and appeal filed by Assessee which was also confirmed by appleate authority.
now assessee has paid double tax on same income.
How can assessee get credit/refund of tax paid in next A.Y.
Whether he file revised return or rectification u/s 154????

19 December 2013 Revised return cannot be filed as time limit to filr revise return is over u/s 139(5),
and u/s 154 also the time limit is over as only 4 years from rel Ay is allowed to file rectifcation request.
