We have filed the original return of service tax for the FY-2007-08 on 16.12.2008.
I would like to know whether we can revised the above return with in 90days from the date of filing original return.
Please tell me whether it is 90 days from the original return or from the "due date".

Under Rule 7B, , With effect from 01.03.2008 the assessee may submit a revised return within 90 days from the date of submission of the return under rule 7. Rule 7 presecribes the due date of filing the return (25th oct/25th Apr). Therefore the return can be revised within ninety days from the due date as per my view
