Revise TDS return

04 September 2010 Dear all,

I file quarterly TDS return for the Q1 April 10 to Jun 10. but there was mistake that pan number of party that why I revise it. In revise receipt type of correction are “Correction in deductor detail”. When I check online revise status at TIN NSDL following error display ………

TDS/TCS - ERROR FILE

Last Employee PAN of the statement is not matching with corresponding statement details available at TIN Central System.

Can any one tell me what should I

May I revise again whether 1st revise rejected …………..

any help line number or ID of TIN NSDL .....................

04 September 2010 First you check that particular Deductee`s PAN valid or not, if valid you can correct the return again

04 September 2010 You are revising return for PAN only so while preparing ETDS return select only update Pan record instead of selecting Correction of all record.

Also check your original return is accepted by the TIN

04 September 2010 Yes My original return is accepted but my revise return are not accepted .........due to error reported by NSDL as

TDS/TCS - ERROR FILE
