Sir/Madam,

My friends has file nil return by E-filling of AY. 2012-13 on filling Date of Original Return 31/07/2012 but Refund not issue by income tax Department because Tan No. not match as per 26AS define in order and order issue dated 02/07/2013. so can i file revise return of AY 2012-13?

pls. Urgently

16 August 2013 No since the time as provided for revised return is over you cannot file revise return for any correction you can file a rectification petition

16 August 2013 In case of TDS credit mismatch you need to do recification online as you have done online return

1)Please login to https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/

2)Go to "My Account" under which you need to enter to "Rectification request"

3)there select assessment year for which you want to do rectification

4)after pressing submit you need to provide details of CPC intimation received by you recently..

5)there you select "TDS Credit mismatch from drop down list"

6)there you can provide details of TDS as per 26AS and it will take 15 days for processing and you can see status of your rectification request also after due time

Ganesh Sir,

I have make rectification request as on Date 20/08/2013 of A.y. 2012-13 rectification of TAN No. mismatch. but yet not any response by department which steps can be taken.

pls. Solve my query.
