27 September 2013 Sir,
I have received invoice including service tax -(i.e.12.36%) of Rs.29662=00 I want to make entry in Tally with bill total + Service Tax separately. How it to be shown?

Any formula for above problem.

27 September 2013 if your bill is inclusive of taxes and want to know tax portion

= bill amount*(rate/100+rate)

you can go with above formulae for taxes amount

28 September 2013 I could not understand above formula, I want very simple,i.e.I have received bill of Rs.29662=00 (Inclusive of 12.36% - service tax), I want to show in Tally Total plus service tax separately. Explain me in very simple manner.
