27 November 2013 Dear Sir,
We are Pvt Ltd Co. & paying service tax under the head 1)cargo handling 2)warehousing rent. Now we have received the service of labor contractor (manpower supply).So as per reverse charge we are required to pay 75% of ST under reverse Charge. Pls clear my doubt with your expert opinion,
1)We have to amend our RC to incorporate manpower recruitment/supply services in our RC.
2)Apart from our regular ST payments we will also pay ST under the heading Manpower supply services.
Am i correct..? pls express your view

27 November 2013 1) Yes, you have to amend your RC by filing up Amend ST-1 form by log in through your online account with cbec website- by clicking on REG-amend registration and add Manpower service.

2)Yes,you have to pay service tax under reverse charge mechanism after get registered under manpower service with your regular other service tax payments. Pay the amount with interest if interest amount is less otherwise take benefit of VCES scheme.
