I working in Ltd.Co. , i have received invoice from Pvt.Ltd.Co.for Rent a Cab Service with Service Tax charge @ 4.94%
please advise we are liable to pay service tax on reverse charge or not.

reverse charge applicable on PVT LTD AND LTD COMPANY.
IF ABOVE LTD/PVT LTD ISSUE INVOICE THEN THEY CHARGE FULL RATE OF TAX. HENCE SERVICE RECEIVED NOT DEPOSIT ANY REVERSE CHARGE ON THAT BILL.
YOU RECEIVE BILL FROM PVT LTD THEN HE CHARGE FULL RATE OF TAX ON THAT SERVICE.
SO YOU HAVE NOT LIABLE TO PAY ANY TAX ON THAT BILL.
IF ABOVE LTD/PVT LTD ISSUE INVOICE THEN THEY CHARGE FULL RATE OF TAX. HENCE SERVICE RECEIVED NOT DEPOSIT ANY REVERSE CHARGE ON THAT BILL.

SO YOU HAVE NOT LIABLE TO PAY ANY TAX ON THAT BILL.
